Have LIV Golf just revealed all SEVEN Boston signings via ticket codes?!

Seven names of PGA Tour players including Cameron Young, Joaquin Niemann and Cameron Smith are all eligible words that can be used in ticket discount codes for LIV Golf in Boston.

Seven names from the current PGA Tour membership have been used and accepted on the LIV Golf Tour website ticket discount code for the next event in Boston.

As reported by No Laying Up, PGA Tour stars Cameron Young, Joaquin Niemann, Cameron Smith, Marc Leishman, Anirban Lahiri, Cameron Tringale and Harold Varner III all have eligible surnames than can be used to get a discount for the fourth event of the Saudi-backed series.

In the first three events of the tour commissioned by Greg Norman, players such as Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Graeme McDowell have all promoted the use of their surnames in capital letters to be used in the 'discount code' bar for fans to get cheaper tickets.

No Laying Up also noted that Hideki Matsuyama's name is not one that is compatible with the discount code. This is a significant indication of which players will be announced on the LIV Golf roster on Monday.

The ticket discount codes have interestingly now all been deactivated but they were up for a fair while earlier this afternoon.

World No.2 Smith was immediately linked with a $40 million switch to the breakaway league after becoming the Champion Golfer of the Year at St Andrews in July, and the Telegraph recently reported that it was a done deal

Leishman is also not a surprise name to be linked with either as Norman looks to build an Australian team.

Yesterday it was confirmed by Handicap 54 that Tringale was definitely moving to LIV Golf.

Tringale, Lahiri and Varner III are all fairly unassuming names to be revealed, while Young defecting from the PGA Tour would arguably be the most shocking yet.

Both Young and Niemann were in the meeting held with Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods ahead of last week's BMW Championship which was won by Patrick Cantlay.

We safely assumed that those in the meeting were inherently behind the PGA Tour's new 2023 schedule of 20 no-cut events and $20 million prize purses.

But maybe things have changed?

Niemann has long been linked to the series which is bankrolled by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, but with Young set to win Rookie of the Year in 2022, this is a surprising acquisition which No Laying Up had already reported probably wasn't true.

This revelation will cast each player's participation in the Presidents Cup into doubt and they will all be subsequently suspended from the PGA Tour for the foreseeable future.

Handicap 54, which has been bang on with just about every LIV Golf player transfer so far this season, is reporting Young will not be going but that Niemann will be heading there ahead of Boston.

They also believe Matsuyama could move to LIV Golf, but in 2023.

LIV Golf will be officially announcing their new signings ahead of Boston after the FedEx Cup this weekend, so let's sit tight for now.
