Augusta National has stuck a number of LIV Golf players with PGA Tour players at The Masters, but the R1 and R2 three-balls are not quite as juicy as many golf fans wanted!

Augusta National has been VERY SUBTLE with its R1 & R2 3-balls at The…

Augusta National has refrained from throwing Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy into threeballs with LIV Golf players for the opening two rounds of The Masters, but there are still a number of LIV / PGA clashes on Thursday and Friday.

Woods will be out with Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland at 10.18am (3.18pm UK time) on Thursday, while McIlroy joins Tom Kim and Sam Burns at 1.48pm (6.48pm UK time).

World No.1 and reigning Masters champion Scottie Scheffler has been put together with Max Homa and amateur Sam Bennett, while arguably the strongest threeball of them all sees Jon Rahm join Justin Thomas and Cameron Young

Augusta National has been VERY SUBTLE with its R1 & R2 3-balls at The Masters!

Of the pick of the threeballs featuring the 18 LIV Golf players in the field this week, Dustin Johnson is out with last week's winner Corey Conners and Justin Rose, Cameron Smith is with Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im, and Phil Mickelson joins Tom Hoge and Si Woo Kim.

Patrick Reed is out with Adam Svensson and Sahith Theegala, last week's LIV Orlando winner Brooks Koepka joins Gary Woodland and Danny Willett, and Sergio Garcia is with Kazuki Higa and Keith Mitchell.

Former Masters champion Sandy Lyle, who is playing in his final Masters, takes two LIV Golf players with him in Jason Kokrak and Talor Gooch.

That is the only three-ball that sees two LIV Golf players together in one group.

It's since been confirmed that none of the 18 LIV Golf players will be included in featured groups coverage.

Those groups will be: Woods, Hovland, Schauffele; Thomas, Rahm, Young; Scheffler, Homa, Bennett; Spieth, Fleetwood, Finau.
