YouTube golf superstar Peter Finch to make professional Tour debut
Popular Golf YouTuber Peter Finch confirms he will make his professional tour debut at the Egyptian Open on the Asian Development Tour.

YouTube golf superstar Peter Finch has confirmed he will be making his professional tour debut at the Egyptian Open.
Finch, 39, has been handed an invite to compete in the Asian Development Tour event taking place at Madinaty Golf Club in Cairo from 29 October to 1 November.
The total prize purse is $125,000 and the field size is 132.
The Egyptian Open is the national open golf tournament of Egypt.
It was first played in 1921, and is the oldest professional competition in the Middle East.
During the early 1950s, it was contested by many of the world's leading golfers, with winners including Bobby Locke and Bernard Hunt.

PGA coach Finch is considered one of the biggest golf YouTubers and social media influencers in 2025.
He has just shy of 800,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
Finch regularly films course vlog and challenge content with many of the game's best players.
He recently filmed a 14-club challenge with European Ryder Cup hero Viktor Hovland.
Finch successfully came through Regional Open Qualifying at Caldy earlier this season.
But he fell short of qualifying for The Open at Royal Portrush when failing to come through his Final Qualifier at Dundonald Links.
Finch's latest big test will now come in the shape of a pro debut on the Asian Development Tour (ADT).
The ADT is a professional golf tour that serves as the official developmental tour for the Asian Tour, providing a platform for players to hone their skills and earn a spot on the main tour.
Launched in 2010, the ADT awards Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) points for its events, and at the end of each season, the top players on the Order of Merit earn an Asian Tour card for the next season.
Finch's latest update follows news earlier this week that golf YouTube sensations Good Good have bagged their own PGA Tour event for 2026 - the Good Good Golf Championship.

I’m making my PRO TOUR DEBUT!!!
— Peter Finch (@PeterFinchGolf) October 23, 2025
Next week I will be making a start at Egyptian Open on the @asiantourgolf 🇪🇬🥳
We WILL be filming it, and I WILL be making the cut… just saying 😏 can’t wait to get going! pic.twitter.com/GXxdBxzKF1
"I have been invited to play in a tour event," said Finch as he broke the news to his followers on social media.
"It's going to be done through the Asian Tour, so four rounds hopefully - two rounds and a cut.
"It's going to be taking place next week - so I'm going to be flying over to Egypt, competing in the Egyptian Open, it's a national open which I love.
"It's a really old event with a great history, I think Bobby Locke won one of the first ones, it goes back that far.
"We're going to be playing, competing and we're going to be filming."
Finch added: "I feel a little bit apprehensive, a little bit nervous but probably not as nervous as I would have been a few years ago.
"Sponsors using invites to attract people to play in events to bring more eyeballs to that event I think is generally a good thing.
"Because they are sponsors invites, I'm not taking away a spot from somebody who would otherwise get in that event.
"I've not gone through Q-School, I've not earned the right to play in a regular season - because this a sponsor invite I'm not taking anyone's place, I can play in this tour event, film videos there and release it to you guys, so from everyone's point of view it's a bit of a win win."
Finch captioned his video with: "We WILL be filming it, and I WILL be making the cut… just saying can’t wait to get going!"
Best of luck Peter, from all of us at GolfMagic.
