2022 Valero Texas Open: How much they all won, prize purse, winner's share

J.J. Spaun became the ninth first time winner on the PGA Tour after taking down the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio.

The Oaks Course, designed by Greg Norman, was the venue and there were some incredible story lines that developed. 

Matt Kuchar, on his 500th start, made a late charge for his 10th win on the circuit but fell just short. 

Kuchar was also chasing down that final berth in at The Masters but that was taken by 31-year-old Spaun. 

England's Richard Bland, at the age of 49, had a good run on his PGA Tour debut and finished in a tie for 59th. 

Bland also moved into the world's top 50 in the official rankings but it was agonizingly a week too late to qualify for Augusta.
