Latest PGA Tour winner's comments about his new TaylorMade irons will crack you up!
Free equipment agent Maverick McNealy won his first PGA Tour title at the RSM Classic, but he hasn't a clue which model of TaylorMade irons are currently in his bag...
Maverick McNealy may have hit a stunning 6-iron to five feet on 18 to capture his maiden PGA Tour title at the RSM Classic on Sunday night, but he rather hilariously hasn't got a clue which model of TaylorMade irons are in his bag at the moment.
McNealy, 29, was locked in a four-way tie for the lead as he stood over his approach shot into the par-4 18th at Sea Island GC in Georgia.
He rather fortuitously just watched amateur Luke Clanton and Nico Echavarria both bogey the hole in front of him to give him a shot at a first PGA Tour title in the season-ending event.

McNealy took full advantage by firing a dart at the flag from 186 yards to five feet.
After watching his playing partner Daniel Berger come up shy with his 20-foot birdie attempt, McNealy sealed the deal by draining his birdie putt into the heart to finish one shot clear on 16-under par.
The first win came in his 134th start as a pro, in a week where he also made his 100th cut on the PGA Tour.
McNealy was asked by a pool of reporters after the tournament to discuss the greatest shot of his PGA Tour career to date.
"Yeah, so a 6-iron is like a 200 club, so I didn't need to kill it, but I just needed good solid one," said McNealy.
"Scout [caddie and brother] told me compress it, just smash down, take a divot. Scout's coaching has been pretty simple lately, he says swing left and take a divot. So I just swung left, took a divot, all came out right online dead centre of the clubface and it couldn't have been a better time for it."
The American was then asked to talk about his decision to recently add new TaylorMade irons to his bag during the Fall.
McNealy is currently a free agent in the equipment world, which has given him the luxury to choose whichever clubs he likes.
The funny thing is though, McNealy hasn't got a clue which model of TaylorMade irons are in his bag at the moment.
All he knows is that they are deadly accurate.
"Yeah I recently switched to TaylorMade P something, PMC?" said a puzzled McNealy.
"I actually don't know what they are, but they go straight so I like them!"
After a closer inspection of his golf bag, we can confirm to McNealy that his irons are indeed TaylorMade P7CBs.
And Mav if you're reading this, they are from 4 to 9-iron in True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts.

McNealy's new TaylorMade P7CB irons were ordered for him by his former long-time caddie Travis McAlister.
He decided to call time on his partnership with McAlister earlier this season and replaced him with his brother Scout.
"Trav suggested I use these irons," said McNealy.
"He ordered them for me from TaylorMade without even telling me and I just got home and saw them at the door, so I owe him an assist on that."
On being a free agent, McNealy concluded:
"I think the best part about that is there is zero pressure to change or switch any equipment."
