Rory McIlroy schedule and results 2025: When and where is Masters champion playing next?
Rory McIlroy 2025 schedule: Find out when the Northern Irishman will be playing next on the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and in the major championships.
Masters champion Rory McIlroy is taking a brief break from the sport after he helped Europe complete a dramatic away victory in the Ryder Cup.
The Northern Irishman said at the conclusion of the biennial contest in 2023 that one of the hardest things to do in the sport is win on away soil.
And McIlroy and Team Europe did just that, completing a sensational 15-13 victory at Bethpage Black in New York despite a spirited comeback on the final day from Keegan Bradley's men.
Several of McIlroy's teammates went straight back into the thick of it after their exploits in the Big Apple, but the Ulsterman decided to take some time away.
After a three-week break, he returned to action at the inaugural DP World India Championship, playing in the country for the very first time as a professional. He finished 26th.
The final three events of his 2025 campaign will see the golfer compete in the DP World Tour's play-offs and in Australia's national open.
He is scheduled to compete at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship over 6-9 November and the season-ending DP World Tour Championship a week later.
McIlroy is attempting to win the circuit's order of merit for the seventh time in his career.
He will round off his 2025 in Down Under at the Australian Open held at Royal Melbourne. He has already confirmed he will play in the same tournament in 2026, too.
The 36-year-old said earlier in the year that, going forward, he wants to trim down his schedule after doing the hard slog for nearly two decades.
Expect McIlroy's 2026 schedule to look largely the same as this year.
