As The Masters draws closer, 13 LIV players have confirmed their places at the first major championship of the year.

The select group has taken different paths to gain entry, but none of that will matter when they face the likes of Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler from 11 April.

Reigning champion Jon Rahm returns and a number of LIV's biggest stars in red-hot form.

Will we see another LIV major winner at Augusta National?

Here is a breakdown of all 13 of the LIV Golf players who will be vying to slip on the coveted green jacket.

Past winners

Bubba Watson

Two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson can sleep easily on his future invites, having slipped on the green jacket for the first time in 2012 and again in 2014.

The Masters is the only major the big-hitting lefty is likely to play this year. He will hope to make it count and improve on his missed-cut performance last year.

Dustin Johnson
Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson

Having won at Augusta in 2020, Johnson has nothing to worry about with regards to gaining an invite to The Masters.

Despite his position being secured, DJ will likely be hoping for a better outing at this year's tournament, having finished a disappointing 48th in 2023.

Charl Schwartzel

Victory at Augusta in 2011 secured the South African one of the greatest prizes in golf: a lifetime invite to The Masters.

Following his victory, Schwartzel has managed a further two top-10 finishes at Augusta, one of which came as recently as 2022, when he finished tied for 10th.

Sergio Garcia
Sergio Garcia

Sergio Garcia

The Fireball GC captain secured his spot at Augusta in 2017 when he defeated Justin Rose in a playoff to earn a lifetime invitation to The Masters.

The Spaniard will aim to improve on a disappointing outing in 2023 when he missed the cut following scores of 74 and 77.

Jon Rahm
Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm

The reigning champion, Rahm, will have been the first name on the invite list this year and will likely be right at the top of the bookie's favourites list, too, following a hot start to his career on the LIV Golf Tour.

Despite joining the breakaway circuit, the Spaniard is still the third-ranked player in the world and will have a point to prove when he faces off against his former PGA Tour rivals.

Phil Mickelson

Phil Mickelson

Mickelson secured his Masters status a long time ago when he won his first of three green jackets in 2004.

Since then, Mickelson has also been in fantastic major championship form, winning the 2021 PGA Championship and finishing second at the 2023 Masters.

Even without his collection of green jackets, Lefty would have cruised his way to an invite.

Patrick Reed

Another LIV golfer who doesn't have to worry about future Masters invites is Patrick Reed. He won his green jacket in 2018, pipping Rickie Fowler by a single shot.

Reed also would have qualified this year thanks to his fourth-place finish in 2023, which was well inside the top 12 that qualify for the next year's tournament.

Major exemptions

Cameron Smith

Cameron Smith

Smith earned his way into the 2024 Master's field in various ways. First, his victory at the 150th Open earned him major exemptions until 2027.

Secondly, his Players Championship win in the same year would have also earned him an invite. And if those two victories weren't enough, he was also ranked well within the top 50 players in the world when qualification ended and had also qualified through his fourth-place finish at the 2023 US Open.

Belt and braces stuff from the Australian.

Bryson

Bryson DeChambeau

The big-hitting American's 2020 US Open victory was enough to gain him entry to all four majors until 2025. Had that not been enough, his 4th-place finish at the 2023 PGA Championship would have also earned the Crushers GC captain an invite to Augusta National in 2024.

Which LIV Golf players have qualified for The Masters?

Brooks Koepka

After coming incredibly close to slipping on his first green jacket in 2023, Koepka will be back with a vengeance this year.

Although a lifetime invite would have been nice, Koepka's red-hot form in majors has secured him a place at all four championships until 2028, thanks to his victory and fifth major trophy at the 2023 PGA Championship.

Koepka was also ranked inside the top 50 in the world at the end of 2023, which on its own would have earned him a spot.

World ranking

Tyrrell Hatton

Having recently joined Jon Rahm's Legion XIII team on the LIV Golf league, Hatton was in no doubt about his position at the 2024 Masters, having appeared at the 2023 Tour Championship and finished 2023 ranked well inside the world's top 50 players.

The Masters does offer Hatton a rare opportunity to improve his world ranking position, and he will be hoping to build on his best appearance at the tournament, a T18 finish in 2021.

Adrian Meronk

Having also recently joined the LIV Golf circuit, Poland's Adrian Meronk secured his position at The Masters, having finished 2023 ranked 48th in the world, two places within the cut-off line for qualification.

Having missed the cut in his debut appearance at the tournament last year, hopefully, it can only get better for the new Cleeks GC member in 2024.

Joaquin Niemann

Joaquin Niemann

With his hopes of qualification all but dead and buried, Joaquin Niemann was one of three players to receive a special organiser invitation to The Masters.

The Chilean has been in red-hot form so far this season, having won two of the first four events of the LIV season, as well as a recent victory at the Australian Open.

If he can continue his purple patch, he could become only the second LIV player to win a major championship while competing on the breakaway circuit.
