Tiger Woods appears to be continuing his part-time career of caddying for his son Charlie Woods in-between his rehab, who appears to be blossoming into a fine young talent.

It has to be said it's probably at this point we should stop referring to Tiger's son as "Little Charlie" or "Little Cat".

Because when you look at Charlie's stature these days you know for a fact that he is 100 per cent the offspring of the 15-time major champion and 82-time PGA Tour winner.

The elder Woods, 46, is back on looping duties for Charlie this week at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf Championship taking place at Koasati Pines in Coushatta, Southwest Louisiana.

In July, Charlie shot a career-low round of 68 on the same circuit with his dad on the bag. After that impressive showing, he also gave his very first media interview.

He will be competing in the Boys 12-13 category this week. Charlie was due to tee off at 11.54am on 7 November.

Dad was spotted on the range watching Charlie warm-up before his first round. Fans said he "didn't look right" the last time he was spotted on caddying duty.

He enthusiastically cleaned Charlie's clubs in-between shots and studiously observed his now 13-year-old son.

It's also interesting that he's still continuing to wear FootJoy Premieres on his feet instead of Nike golf shoes.

Okay, I may not know anything about the golf swing in general but Charlie's move looks effortlessly powerful. And balanced.

Tiger has not confirmed when he will next play professional golf but there is speculation that he will take one of the three spots available for the PGA Tour event he hosts in December.

He will return to Albany, Bahamas to host the Hero World Challenge. It is a star-studded field. Will Zalatoris has recently withdrawn and been replaced by Shane Lowry.

As for Tiger, he is continuing to remain busy with his rehabilitation. He's recently confirmed a huge number of sports stars have invested in his company TMRW Sports.

Elsewhere, Rory McIlroy - other than calling for peace between the warring PGA Tour and LIV Golf - has hinted that Tiger could return sooner than we think.

It's extremely unlikely that Tiger would run the risk of returning too soon given his performances in the major championships in 2022.

Despite making cuts at the Masters and U.S. Open, he was filmed limping heavily and looked in visible anguish. He withdrew after the third round of the U.S. Open at The Country Club at Brookline.

He missed the cut at the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews then confirmed he would be taking a break for a while.

If he does not play in the Bahamas then he would likely tee it up in the PNC Championship.

Tiger and Charlie finished runner-up to John Daly and his son last year. The Woods duo posted a combined 59 on the final day but came up short.

Jordan Spieth has confirmed he will be making his debut in the father/son jaunt in Orlando just before Christmas.
