Rory McIlroy's early playing schedule for 2024 has been revealed on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.
Rory McIlroy's early 2024 schedule is shaping up.
McIlroy, 34, will be hoping for a huge season in 2024 as he looks to not only win his first major championship since 2014 but also complete the career grand slam with victory at The Masters in April.
Many believe McIlroy will have every chance to do just that in 2024, especially after he recently decided to step away from his player director duties on the PGA Tour policy board.
McIlroy's new tech-infused TGL with Tiger Woods has also been pushed back to a 2025 start, which will also free up additional time for him to work hard on his golf game.
The Ulsterman enters his 10th year now since his last major victory at the 2014 US PGA at Valhalla, which to McIlroy's delight will once again host this year's tournament from May 16-19.
But as we have already touched upon above, McIlroy will be most eager to bring his A-game to the season's first major at The Masters from April 11-14, as he goes in search of golf history.
Only Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Woods have completed the career grand slam in the modern era.
McIlroy is using a brand new TaylorMade Qi10 LS Driver in 2024.

While McIlroy's full 2024 playing schedule has yet to be revealed, but we can confirm some of his upcoming tournaments on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour.
McIlroy played his first tournament of 2024 at the Dubai Invitational, where he finished runner-up.
He followed that with his 19th victory on the DP World Tour at the Dubai Desert Classic.
McIlroy is bidding to win the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai for a third straight year and sixth time overall.
He is also going in search of a fourth FedEx Cup on the PGA Tour.
McIlroy will fancy his chances of winning multiple times on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour this season, especially with Jon Rahm now having moved over to LIV Golf.
