Rory McIlroy 2025 schedule: Find out when the Northern Irishman will be playing next on the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and in the major championships.
Masters champion Rory McIlroy is taking a brief break from the sport following the completion of the final men's major of the year.
McIlroy didn't win The Open but he endured an incredible reception from his home fans at Royal Portrush.
In the end, McIlroy had to settle for a share of seventh place, seven strokes behind champion golfer of the year Scottie Scheffler.
McIlroy immediately left the Dunluce Links for a well-earned vacation in France where he was caught bragging about where he keeps his green jacket.
And he was also spotted at Sunningdale in Berkshire watching the final round of the Senior Open.
McIlroy will be back in action on the PGA Tour next month for the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake.
He will attempt to win the FedEx Cup for the fourth time in his career but the aforementioned Scheffler will be standing in his way.
Once that is finished, McIlroy will turn his attentions to the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
He'll play the Amgen Irish Open at The K Club and the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth before making his eighth appearance at the biennial showdown.
