Winner's bag: What equipment did Scottie Scheffler use for $3.6m pay day?

Scottie Scheffler returned to the World No.1 spot as he defended the PGA Tour's Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The 2022 Masters champion overcame Canada's Nick Tayor and Spain's Jon Rahm to claim his fifth worldwide victory.

The American earned a whopping $3.6m pay day from the $20m purse as the tournament was one of the PGA's elevated events

Huge money increases were made to try and compete with the winnings on offer in the LIV Golf League

If you didn't know, Scheffler is a TaylorMade staff player. He signed a multi-year deal with the OEM last March and hasn't looked back.

Scheffler made four birdies and an eagle in his final round at TPC Scottsdale. Across the week he shot 68-64-68-65 to win by two strokes.

He averaged 316.7 yards off the tee using his TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver. His longest drive was 366 yards.

According to the PGA Tour statistics, Scheffler found 77.7 per cent of greens in regulation. Off the tee, he hit 30 of 56 fairways and putted like a demon, gaining 4.1 strokes on the field.
