Robert MacIntyre WITB: July 2024

Robert MacIntyre, affectionately known as Bob, has emerged as one of Europe's most promising golfers. His journey from a young talent to a PGA Tour winner was marked by a significant milestone last week when he clinched his second PGA Tour title at the prestigious Genesis Scottish Open. 

MacIntyre, 27, has also won twice on the DP World Tour since turning pro in 2017 and also represented team European in the 2023 Ryder Cup, where he went undefeated, securing 2.5 points from a possible 3.

MacIntyre's roots trace back to Oban, Scotland, where he was born and raised. His journey began with a successful amateur career, a phase that also led him to McNeese State University in Louisiana, where he spent a year honing his skills. 

Last week, Macintyre secured his second PGA Tour title in front of a home crowd at The Renaissance Club

Macintyre shot a final round 67 to beat Australian Adam Scott by one shot.
