Robert MacIntyre, affectionately known as Bob, has emerged as one of European golf's brightest rising stars in the last couple of years. His journey from a young talent to a multi-time PGA Tour winner has been punctuated by significant victories, particularly in his home-nation of Scotland, clinching his second PGA Tour title at the prestigious Genesis Scottish Open and claiming this weekend's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in comfortable style.

MacIntyre's Dunhill win was his third on the DP World Tour since turning pro in 2017, and came a week after once again proving himself instrumental in Europe's Ryder Cup fortunes, Ryder Cup securing 1.5 points to help the Europeans earn an historic win at Bethpage Black.

Perhaps more impressive over the last two years, however, has been the enduring nature of Macintyre's form. While the Scot is yet to claim a major championship, he's been among the PGA tour's most in-form players in that time, claiming three major championship Top 10s and rising to a career high world ranking of number eight.

A particularly intriguing area of MacIntyre's game is his eclectic equipment make-up, the scot being a signed Titleist staff player yet playing a much more varied mixture of clubs than many players in the brand's stable. In addition to his Titleist clubs and ball, MacIntyre plays a number of TaylorMade models both new and very old, which makes for interesting reading.

Scroll on as we take a deep dive into MacIntyre's full set-up for the 2025 season and beyond.

Driver: Titleist TSR2

Titleist's TSR driver range has proven enduringly popular on tour since its release in 2022, with the likes of Wyndham Clark, Cameron Smith and Jordan Spieth all still gaming either a TSR2 or TSR3 rather than switching into the newer GT models. MacIntyre has played his much-trusted TSR2 since early 2024 and, despite being far from one of the game's longest hitters, ranked in the PGA Tour's Top 50 for total driving throughout the 2025 season.

Fairway wood: TaylorMade AeroBurner

By far the most surprising club MacIntyre still has in play is his trusty TaylorMade Aeroburner 3-wood: a once-beloved model that has now flown well past its 10th birthday. According to PGA Club tracker it's the only AeroBurner wood of any kind still on tour, making it something of a treasure to those who preach that you don't need the latest and greatest gear to play at an elite level (although having access to TaylorMade's tour truck presumably helps).

If you're curious to see how it plays, you can grab one for yourself for a bit over £60 at GolfBidder right now.

Hybrid: TaylorMade Stealth 2 Rescue

There aren't a lot of Hybrid players on tour when measured by sheer weight of numbers, but some of the game's best ball strikers still elect to have one in the bag for the added forgiveness they provide in the long game. MacIntyre is one such player, having put TaylorMade's Stealth 2 rescue in the bag back in July 2023.

Irons: Titleist 620 CB

Another club MacIntyre is hesitant to move from is his choice of Titleist 620 CB irons: a cavity back players model also favoured by the likes of Brian Harman, Cameron Davis and Bernd Wiesberger. MacIntyre plays his from a 4-iron through to a 9.

Wedges: Titleist Vokey

Most Titleist staff players have switched into the brand's much-acclaimed new SM10 wedges, and MacIntyre followed suit in June this year. He plays a suite of three Vokey SM10s starting with a 46-degree pitching wedge, his 60-degree wedge coming, as is the case with many Titleist Tour Players, customised courtesy of Titleist's WedgeWorks division.

Putter: TaylorMade Spider Tour

The status of TaylorMade's Spider Tour putter at the highest level speaks for itself – the ever popular mallet model gamed by the world's top two players as well as a host of players who took to the course at the 2025 Ryder Cup. MacIntyre is currently one of these players, having switched out of an Oddsey Ai-ONE #7 into a Spider Tour #1 to start this season.

Golf ball: Titleist Pro V1

MacIntyre is a fairly new entry into Titleist's list of Pro V1 players, having switched out of the higher-launching, higher-spinning Pro V1x in August this year. Already the move has paid serious dividends. The Pro V1 helped MacIntyre not only claim the Dunhill links but form a highly-effective foursomes partnership with fellow Pro V1 player Viktor Hovland at the previous week's Ryder Cup.
