Suffice to say Jon Rahm wasn't best pleased with this tee shot at the 2023 Masters

The Spaniard, 28, was playing his second round and was bang in contention when he stepped up to No. 6 at Augusta National.

Everything was ticking along nicely for Rahm, who at the time was 7-under par and trailing Brooks Koepka by five.

He had made five straight pars and this shot was so, so close to being good.

His tee shot just needed a little bit of extra juice. Instead, he found himself staring down a tough two-putt.

Immediately after watching his golf ball roll away from the pin, the hot mics picked up an almighty F-bomb.

Sky Sports immediately had to apologise for the colourful language. Rahm did go on to make a par, though.

He then birdied 8 and 9 to move it to 9-under, shortly before the hooter sounded for a suspension of play.

As that was happening, a giant pine tree was falling to the ground by the 17th tee but thankfully nobody was injured.

Rahm will return to the course to complete his second round on Satuday morning just three shots behind leader Brooks Koepka, who has finished his second round.

Rahm has previously addressed his temper. When he was 23 years old he told Golf Channel:

"I know golfers are supposed to internalize everything, and I wish I could. Every time I try to keep it to myself, just imagine a Coca-Cola bottle. If you shake it once, then it comes down. But once you open it, it's a complete mess, and that’s what happens if I try to keep it down. If I try to keep it down, at some point, I’m going to miss a shot that’s not that bad, and I’m going to lose it. Sometimes, I need to get mad."
