Driving Accuracy Leaders on PGA Tour and LIV Golf ahead of U.S. Open at Oakmont
Who are the most accurate drivers of the ball ahead of the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont? We list the PGA Tour and LIV Golf leaders...
Keeping your golf ball in play and out of the deep rough will be key to victory at the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club.
Of course, all other areas of a player's game will also need to be on point in order to come out on top in golf's toughest test.
But driving the ball into the short grass will be of vital importance if you want to contend at 10-time record host venue Oakmont, which we believe is one of the best U.S. Open courses.
Starting the week at a height of five inches, a dense blend of Kentucky bluegrass, ryegrass, and poa annua will await any player who strays slightly off target at the 2025 U.S. Open.
In various social media clips on the eve of the U.S. Open, like PING's video of Tyrrell Hatton below, it would appear even just hacking a ball back onto the fairway is a tough task.

Unlike previous years when Oakmont has hosted a U.S. Open, there will be no graduated rough.
Instead, the thickest grass will be located immediately adjacent to the fairways, which average only 28 yards in width.
"Look, you hit the ball in the rough and you're not going to have any control of your ball going into the green, especially these greens that are pitched away from you," Rory McIlroy summed up perfectly during his Wednesday press conference.
"You have to be able to spin the ball going into these greens if you want it to finish anywhere close to where you want it to."
McIlroy added: "You want to combine distance with accuracy this week. That's the recipe."
