1. Titleist Pro V1
Wins: 14
Titleist's Pro V1 is the most iconic, and best-selling, tour-level ball in golf, and thanks in large part to one Scottie Scheffler, was the winningest ball on tour this year as well. The World No. 1 racked up six wins of his own with his trusty Pro V1 this year, including two majors, while Harris English, Joe Highsmith, Viktor Hovland, Brian Harman, Garrick Higgo, Ryan Gerard, Michael Brennan and Adam Schenk all took home a trophy with the Pro V1 as well.

2. Titleist Pro V1x
Wins: 12
The firmer, higher-launching and spinnier variant of the regular Pro V1, the Pro V1x saw arguably even more success than on tour this year than its twin brother, achieving just two less wins but delivering victories for a greater number of players. 48 tour pros used the Pro V1x this year compared to the Pro V1x's 47, 12 of whom claimed at least one win as opposed to the Pro V1's 9.
The Pro V1x was also the base for Titleist's most successful experimental models, with Aldrich Potgeiter and Cameron Young scoring wins in the Pro V1x+ and Pro V1x Double Dot respectively.

3. Srixon Z-Star XV
Wins: 5
Srixon's small-yet-dedicated staff of Z-Star ball players mostly gravitate towards the XV variant, and as such it proved the Japanese brand's most successful model on tour this year. The XV picked up Ws at the feet of Hideki Matsuyama, Ryan Fox and Sepp Straka.

T4. TaylorMade TP5
Wins: 3
TaylorMade's TP5 has just one dedicated user on tour, with most of the brand's staff roster favouring the higher-launching TP5x. It helps, however, when that one player is a certain Rory McIlroy. The Northern Irishman made a surprise switch into the TP5 at the start of the season, seeing immediate success with his famous victory at the Masters and going on to claim another two wins with the model.

T4. Srixon Z-Star Diamond
Wins: 3
Srixon's Z-Star Diamond is the third ball on this list to boast major success this year, having been used by J.J. Spaun in his US Open triumph. Keegan Bradley and Andrew Novak also took the Diamond to victory over the course of the year, solidifying Srixon as the clear number two in the tour ball space for the time being.

T4. Maxfli Tour X
Wins: 3
Likely to be a surprise entry on this list for some, Maxfli's re-emergence into the Tour's winners circle came thanks to the exploits of one Ben Griffin - who as the brand's current marquee player used the Tour X in each of his three PGA Tour Victories this year. A late captain's pick for Team USA, he also gave the brand its first appearance in the Ryder Cup for more than a decade.
