Brian Campbell WITB: Everything in the golf bag of the 2025 John Deere Classic winner
Explore the set that fired the American to his second playoff win of the PGA Tour so far.

Brian Campbell is emerging as one of the great enigmas of the 2025 PGA Tour.
The 32-year-old American came up clutch on the final day of the John Deere Classic, winning a playoff over Emiliano Grillo to capture not just his second PGA Tour victory of the year so far, but his second playoff win as well.
Despite the two-win season, Campbell has been far from one of the most dominant players on tour. In fact, the Illinois alum has largely been a non-factor in the tournaments he hasn't won, finishing an average of 68th throughout the year (a high this century among golfers who have won twice on tour in a season).

But it's victories that count, and Brian has two of them—something only a handful of other players on tour can boast of. And refreshingly, as some have pointed out, this all comes despite Campbell being one of the shorter hitters on tour (although his 276 yard driving average is still impressive by the standards of mere mortals.
A PING ambassador, Campbell utilises control and finesse to win out despite his lack of raw power, employing a mixed set up of the American brand's clubs alongside some revisions at the shorter end of the bag.
Read on to find out everything in his arsenal.

Driver & 3-Wood: PING G440 LST
Alongside a good chunk of PING's tour team, Campbell favours PING's most recent G440 LST at the long end of the bag, preferring it for its combination of low spin and forgiveness.
The G440 has quietly emerged as one of the most popular drivers among the tour's brand-agnostic players. Jason Day has one in the bag, as does noted Callaway player Phil Mickelson.
To optimise driver spin, launch and control, Campbell games both with a combination of Fujikura Ventus Black and Blue shafts.
7-Wood: PING G430 LST
The 7-wood is a forgiving, long-distance option becoming increasingly popular both on tour and at the amateur level, and Campbell is no exception. The G430 LST 7-wood has been in the American's bag for a couple of seasons now, providing reliable distance and workability from the tee to the fairway.
Irons: PING iDi, PING Blueprint S
Having launched back in May, PING's iDi utility irons are a new edition to the American brand's arsenal, but are quickly finding favour with players on tour. Campbell was one of the iDi's early adopters, working the club at a 4 iron loft into his bag and rapidly becoming a fan of it.
A player who gears the top end of his bag towards minimising launch and maximising run-out, Campbell's game is well-suited to the strengths of the iDi, which also features a now-recognisable notch allowing for for easy loft and lie adjustments.
Away from the utility loft, Campbell games the ever-popular Blueprint S model—a club we tested on its release in late 2023 and absolutely loved—from a 5 iron down to his pitching wedge.
Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM10
Erring away from his home brand at the more lofted end of the bag, Campbell is one of the many tour players who simply can't be drawn away from Titleist's iconic Vokey series.
Campbell employs three SM10 wedges at varying degrees of lofts and bounces, moving through a 52degree, 56-degree and finishing off with the company's premium low-bounce Wedgeworks 60L for maximum lob wedge spin.

Putter: PING Redwood Anser 2
PING's iconic Anser putter remains an enduring favourite on tour, with countless pros relying on the bladed shape for its classic looks and predictable performance on the dance-floor.
Campbell's Anser comes from PING's Redwood line: one that's long gone out of production, but that Campbell trusts nonetheless for the premium feel provided by its milled 303 stainless steel face.
Golf Ball: Titleist Pro V1x
Campbell is the style of player who prefers to strike a balance between spin and launch to produce a combination of carry and roll-out. As such, he's one of many who prefers the most popular low-spin, high-launch ball on tour: the Pro V1x.
A three-piece construction that's proven among the most popular pro choices in the industry for decades, the Pro V1x was in our top 2 longest, lowest-spinning golf balls with the driver in our 2025 Golf Ball guide.
