It's a moment we all remember fondly: Tiger Woods at the 2005 Masters.

Earlier in the week, the big cat, 47, revealed why he didn't like re-watching that iconic chip-in on the way to collecting his fourth green jacket.

Long story short, Woods hit his 8-iron way left and then holed out moments later. The then 29-year-old went ballistic with Steve Williams.

But looking back he was absolutely disgusted as to how he could miss the 16th green at Augusta National so badly with a short iron in hand.

Sahith Theegala has previously spoken of how Woods has inspired him. I mean, who hasn't Woods inspired from this generation?

So this moment will be pretty special for the 25-year-old. He was already 5-under for the day, and forced himself into contention at the 2023 Masters.

But at No. 16 he sent his tee shot sailing over the green long and left into a group of patrons.

Not to worry. He probably had Woods in the back of the mind when he stepped up to this one.

Theegala later told the media of his shot:

"Oh, my Go. You should have seen how many people said, 'Do it for Tiger, Tiger chip-in', and all that stuff when I was over there.
"I just wanted to get it anywhere on the green because I had kind of a muddy lie, and yeah, it was gross over there.
"But yes, I can't wait to watch the replay because I don't know what I did. I don't even know the angle the ball took.
"I was just blacked out when I hit the chip because I was just so happy to get it on the green."

Theegala said watching Tiger's chip-in was his first golf memory.
